Post 1 – GSSSB Junior Geologist Bharti 2026 (Advt 380)
GSSSB has announced 43 vacancies for the post of Laghu Bhustarshashtri (Junior Geologist), Class-3, under the Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board (GWSSB). This is a regular recruitment open for all eligible categories.

GSSSB has announced 10 vacancies for Laboratory Technician Class-3 posts. This is a Special Recruitment Drive exclusively for Divyang (PwBD) candidates. General category candidates are NOT eligible.Important: This recruitment is exclusively for Divyang (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities – PwBD) candidates only. General category candidates cannot apply.
Eligibility – Lab Technician
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry / Microbiology / Biochemistry
- OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician / Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
- OR 1 Year Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course from a recognized institution
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi
Age Limit:
- General Male: 18 to 43 Years
- General Female: 18 to 45 Years
- Other categories: As per Gujarat Govt PwBD relaxation rules

Selection Process – Both Posts
Selection for both posts is based on a single-stage Written Examination only. There is no interview.
- Exam Format: CBRT (Computer Based Response Test) or OMR
- Part A: General Knowledge, Reasoning, Gujarati, English, Quantitative Aptitude – 60 Marks
- Part B: Subject-specific technical questions – 150 Marks
- Total: 210 Marks
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer
- Qualifying: Minimum 40% in both Part A and Part B separately

- Find your advertisement:
- Junior Geologist: Advt No. 380/202526
- Lab Technician: Advt No. 402/202526
- Click “Apply Now” and fill personal details (fields with * are mandatory)
- Fill educational details exactly as per your original certificates
- Accept declaration and click Save to generate Application Number
- Upload Passport Photo (5cm x 3.6cm, JPG, max 15KB) and Signature (2.5cm x 7.5cm, JPG, max 15KB)
- Click “Confirm Application” — no changes allowed after this
- Pay fee online (Debit Card / Net Banking / UPI) by 23 March 2026
- Save your Confirmation Number for future reference
