DRDO GTRE Duration of Apprenticeship?
The DRDO GTRE Apprentice duration of the training depending on the type of apprenticeship. The selected candidates are required to undergo training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and will be paid a monthly stipend during the training period. At the end of the training period, the candidates are issued a certificate by GTRE certifying their completion of apprenticeship training.

Education Qualification :
- Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech./ Equivalent in following disciplines): A degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament
- Graduate Apprentice (General Stream) : A degree granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament / Educational Institutes established by a State Government / by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government.
- Diploma Apprentice Trainees : A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government / by a University / by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma.
- ITI Apprentice Trainees : A certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education.
Age Limit : 18 to 27 (Relaxation Applicable)
Stipend : Candidates finally selected for the Apprenticeship Training would be eligible for stipend as given below as per Govt. of India rules.
Selection Process : Graduate Apprentice Trainees – Engineering (B.E / B.Tech. / Equivalent) , Graduate Apprentice Trainees – Non Engineering (B.Com. / B.Sc. / B.A BCA / BBA), Diploma Apprentice Trainees / ITI Apprentice Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by short listing on the basis of Academic Merit/Written Test/Interview as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents.
