Online applications are invited from the eligible applicants for engagement as Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) (Branch Postmaster(BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster(ABPM)/Dak Sevak). Education Qualification for GDS 2023

Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.

GDS 2023 State Wise Total Vacancy

Age Limit : 18 to 40 Years

Application Fee : For UR/ OBC/ EWS Male: Rs. 100/- &  Female, SC/ST candidates & PwD Candidates: Nil

Selection Process GDS 2023 :

• The applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system generated merit list.
• The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks (as explained in sub paras- iii to ix below) in Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of approved Page 7 of 20 Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory.

How to Apply GDS 2023 : Application can be submitted online only at www.indiapostgdsonline.in. Applications received from any other mode shall not be entertained.
