The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. requires one (1) Port Manager, one (1) Deputy Port Manager on “Contract” for The Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt. Ltd. (RGPPL) LNG Terminal at Dabhol, Maharashtra. Educational qualification:
Port Manager: Holding COC of Master (FG) issued by D.G. Shipping, India. Candidates must have sailed as Deck Officer on Merchant Ships for a minimum of 5 Years or more out of which at least 1 year must be on tankers. Must have sailed as Master for at least 1 year on tankers or have shore experience of at least 1 year managing operations of tanker vessels. Candidates having work experience of an LNG vessel or LNG terminal will be given preference.
Deputy Port Manager: Holding COC of Chief Mate (F.G.) or Master (FG) issued or recognized by D.G. Shipping, India. Candidates must have sailed as Deck Officer on Merchant Ships for a minimum of 5 years or more out of which at least 1 year must be on tankers. They must have sailed as Chief Officer for at least 1 year on tankers or must have shore experience of at least 1 year managing operations of tanker vessels. Candidates with experience of teaching in maritime institutes will be given preference.
Job Profile :
PORT MANAGER The Port Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring day-to-day activity of Port Operations at the LNG Terminal.
PORT MANAGER The Deputy Port Manager will assist the Port Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring day to day activity of Port Operations at the LNG Terminal which includes mooring, unmooring, safe keeping of vessel at berth, monitor jetty control room activities etc. He will be responsible for HSE functions at the Terminal.
Age limit: The age of the applicant should not be more than 62 years as on 31st August 2017.
