Kendriya Vidyalaya Snagathan Invites Online Applications from Indian Citizens for recruitment of the Teaching Staff to the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGTs) and Primary Teacher (PRT) in Kendriya Vidyalayas for North Eastern Zone to be filled up by direct Recruitment through a special Recruitment Drive. The North Eastern Zone of KVS Comprises of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura State.

- Post Graduate Teachers (PGT): 182 Posts
- Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT): 144 Posts
- Primary Teachers (PRT): 220 Posts
Educational qualification Required :
PGT: 2 years integrate Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education or NCERT in the concerned subjects OR Master Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects. B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
TGT: 4 years integrate Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education or NCERT in the concerned subjects OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-Ii, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for Purpose. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
PRT: Sr Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for Purpose. Competence to teach through Hindi and English medium

PGTs: Post Graduate Teachers written test (Exam) will consist of one paper for PGTs separately, Two Parts, full details are as under.

- General Hindi: 20 Questions & 20 Marks
- Part-II
- Current Affairs: 20 Questions & 20 Marks
- Reasoning and Numerical Ability: : 20 Questions & 20 Marks
- Teaching Methodology: 20 Questions & 20 Marks
- Subject concerned: 100 Questions & 100 Marks
- Total Marks: 200 Questions & 200 Marks
- Total Time: 3 Hrs.
TGTs & Primary Teachers: Trained Graduate Teacher & Primary Teacher written Exam will consist of one paper for TGTs (English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Maths, Social Studies, Science) and Primary Teacher separately, Full Details are as under
