OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORPORATION LIMITED Recruitment of Graduate Trainees at E-1 level in Engineering & Geo-Sciences posts through GATE-2018, The Engineering & Geo-Sciences posts through GATE-2018 were notified vide Advt. No. 7/2017 (R&P) in September 2017 in Employment News and ongcindia.com. In the advertisement, it was conveyed that details about number of posts will be announced at the time of inviting the online applications. ONGC GATE Graduate Trainee Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification: Candidate should have completed AEE, materials management officer, programming officer, transport officer posts the qualification is a graduate Engineer degree in mechanical/electrical/ mechanical/ relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
Age limit:
Age limit except AEE (Drilling/Cementing): 30 years
For AEE (Drilling/Cementing): 28 years
Application fees:
Gen/ OBC: Rs.370/- (Applicants are required to pay Rs.60/- as branch charges and Rs.10.80/- as GST in addition to registration fee as above. Hence total amount payable would be Rs. 370/- only which has been indicated at Bank Challan Form.
SC/ST: Nil
ONGC GATE Graduate Trainee Selection Process:
GATE – 2018 : The desirous and eligible candidates having the essential qualification for the advertised posts should have appeared in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 as indicated above in para 1.1.Essential Qualification & GATE Subject with Code under Eligibility Criteria and declared qualified by the GATE-2018 authorities .
The GATE-2018 Score in the subject mentioned against the posts of ONGC will be considered by ONGC for shortlisting the candidates for the further selection process of Personal Interview as per the criteria decided by the Management.

- Weight-age of GATE-2018 Score: 60 Marks
- Interview: 15 Marks
- Qualification 25 Marks (20 Marks for Essential Qualification & 05 marks for in line PhD*)
- Total Marks: 100 Marks
