The Gujarat Technological University invites applications for purely contractual based employment for the below mentioned posts of :

  • Director (Graduate School of Engineering / Technology)
    • PH.D. with first class in Master of engineering /Technology. In  addition,  the  candidates  should  be  eminent  persons  in  their fields  of  specialization  with  outstanding  academic  record throughout.  candidate  should  have  15  years  of  experience  in teaching /research out of which 10 years must be at the level of professor  or  above  in  reputed  educational  institutes/research organizations  N.B.:  The  appointment  shall  be  in  the  scale  of  Rs.  37400-67000 G.P.  10000/-.However,  retired  candidates  shall  be  offered  Rs. 80000/- fix per month.
  • Director (Graduate School of Pharmacy)
    • PH.D. with first class in Master of Pharmacy. In  addition,  the  candidates  should  be  eminent  persons  in  their fields  of  specialization  with  outstanding  academic  record throughout.  candidate  should  have  15  years  of  experience  in teaching /research out of which 10 years must be at the level of professor  or  above  in  reputed  educational  institutes/research organizations
  • Librarian
    • A Master’s  Degree  in  Library  Science/Information  Science/ Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point Scale and consistently good academic record set in these Regulations.  At  least thirteen  years  as  a  Deputy  Librarian  in a  University  library  or Eighteen years’ experience as a College Librarian  Evidence  of  innovative  library  service  and  organization  of  published work.  Experience  of  Library  Management  System,  plagiarism  software  and INFLIBNET.
  • Sports Officer
    • A Master Degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in Sport Science with at  least  55%  marks  (or  an  equivalent  grade  in a  point  scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. Record of having represented the university / college at the inter-university /inter collegiate competitions or the state and / or nation Championships. Qualification in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. Passed  the  physical  fitness  test  conducted  in  accordance  with  these Regulation.

The candidate should apply online upto 07/07/ 2017 and print of filled online application should be reached to the Registrar, Gujarat Technological University, University Campus, Nr. Vishwakarma Govt. Engg. College, Visat Three Roads, Sabarmati-Koba Highway, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad-382 424 latest by 15/07/2017 by 1:00 pm (except public holidays).
